1	6th International Writing Competition (S’pore) 第六届全球美文写作征文大赛，2007年海外赛区（新加坡）, organised by Confucius Institute (NTU), Xi’an Publisher (China), Raffles Girls’ School, Lingzi Media & Singapore Middle School Chinese Teachers Union Mdm Xuan Xuan won the "Nurturer Award", Li Bai He (Sec 1A) won the Merit Award
2	Chinese “Talk about the picture” Competition 第三届新加坡北区中学华文《说“话”》比赛 Fang Xiu Yi (Sec 4D) won Merit Award
3	SEF (Scholastic Environment Fund) National OratoryCompetition 2007 Meldon Wee Yi Shuo of 2E, achieved Top 2 Score in the Gold Standard Category for SEF Oratory National Competition 2007.
4	SEF National Oratory Competition 2007 Hua’An, Primrose of 2G & Angeline 2D, Ian 2H, achieved Silver Awards in the Team Category for SEF Oratory National Competition 2007. Yi Jun, Soon Siang, Karyn & Lin Xiaodong of 4D, achieved Bronze Awards in the Team Category for SEF Oratory National Competition 2007.
5	Inter-secondary Schools Translation Competition Pang Cai Feng of 2I has won Individual Outstanding Award in National Inter-secondary Schools Translation Competition 2006 organised by SPH, Nanyang Junior College .
6	Culture Talk 2007 Our School has won 2nd Prize in Culture Talk 2007- A Chinese Language Online Discussion Forum Competition for Sec School organised by ETD(MOE) & Meridian JC .

SPORTS AND GAMES ACHIEVEMENTS

1	Basketball North Zone Basketball Competition The Basketball B Division Girls came in 2nd for the North Zone Basketball Championship and Top 16 for National Schools Basketball Championship. The Basketball C Division Girls came in 4th for the North Zone Basketball Championship and Top 16 for National Schools Basketball Championship.
2	Chinese Chess Competition In the Singapore Polytechnic Chess Open 2007, Low Yi Hao (3E) came in 1st in the Chinese Blitz category, Secondary School Division
3	Chinese Chess Competition Low Yi Hao of 3E has won First Prize in the 12th Char Yong Cup 2007.

1	NCC 53rd Cadet Lieutenant Course (2 to 14 April 2007) CLT Lu Sheng Biao Awarded Platoon Best Trainee Best Unit Competition – 2006 (For the Year 2007) Awarded GOLD for 2006 BUC Competition Outstanding Cadet MSG 2007 MSG Arthur Douglas Chiam Cheng Cai awarded "Outstanding Cadet MSG 2007" by HQ NCC. HQ NCC Specialist Course (Phase 2) 13 to 16 June 2007 Best In Trainfire: 2SG Ong Tze Kiat Stanley (Sec 3G) Best In Platoon Trainee: 2SG Lim Chia Hwee (Sec 3I) DR ARTHUR BENG, CHAIRMAN NCC awarded LTA Eric Koh (Commanding Officer) for Attainment of the Gold Award in the BEST UNIT COMPETITION 2006 through Excellence in Leadership & Unit Adminstration.

AESTHETIC AND CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS

1	Infocomm Club Infocomm Club has attained the FIRST POSITION in the Virtualisation Camp Competition organised by IHPC Astar Institute in March 2007.
2	MozART Challenge (Music and Art Competition) NCHS was awarded the First Runner-Up Position in the Music and Art Competition organised by the Raffles Institution in July 2007.
3	21st Century International Choral Competition 2007 (Genting, Malaysia) Our Choir was awarded the Gold cum the Most Outstanding Choral Award in the above event held in June 2007.
4	SYF 2007 Presentation Our String Orchestra was selected by CCAB, MOE to perform for the SYF 2007 Presentation for Instrumental Ensembles at the Singapore Conference Hall in July 2007.
5	School Video Awards 6 of our Multimedia Club students won a Gold Award in the 8th Schools Video Awards organized by the Ministry of Education. Their movie “Sisters” presented a touching story of two sisters, being bonded by a metaphor of the commonplace and often taken for granted - Chicken Rice.
6	Chinese Orchestra Chinese Orchestra has attained a Silver Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
7	Concert Band Concert Band has attained a Silver Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
8	Chinese Dance Chinese Dance has attained a Gold with Honours Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
9	String Ensemble String Ensemble has attained a Gold Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
10	Choir Choir has attained a Gold Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
11	International Dance International Dance has attained a Silver Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
12	ELDDS ELDDS has attained a Silver Award in the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.
