The Class Council plays an important role in building a positive and supportive class environment. Made up of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, the Class Council works closely with the Form Teachers as well as Peer Support Leaders within the class, to strengthen class spirit, promote teamwork and ensure the smooth running of the class.
Key Responsibilities
Build a positive and inclusive class culture.
Lead and support class initiatives and events.
Plan and facilitate class bonding activities.
Guide Operations Executives in carrying out their duties.
Work with Form Teachers to support students' well-being and learning.
Promote responsibility, teamwork and school values.
Assist with class administration and communication.
Capacity Building and Support
To equip them for their roles, Class Councillors undergo up to three leadership training sessions each year, organised by the Student Leadership Committee. These training sessions develop their leadership, communication, teamwork and facilitation skills, enabling them to better serve their classmates.
Class Councillors work closely with their Form Teachers and may also approach their respective Assistant Year Head/ Year Head for guidance and support when needed. Through these experiences, they grow as confident and responsible leaders who make a positive difference in their class and school community
