Information for 2026 Sec1 Students

As announced by MOE, The Secondary 1 (S1) Posting results will be released on 19 December 2025, at 9am.

The S1 Posting results can be accessed through the following channels:

  • S1 Portal (www.moe.gov.sg/s1-posting) using parents’ Singpass;

  • Short Message Service (SMS) via a local mobile number (if provided by the applicant during the application process); or

  • At the student's primary school.   

Students do not need to report to their posted secondary schools upon receiving their S1 Posting results.

Students posted to Nan Chiau High School should refer to this website for more information, such as the reporting details, booklist, and purchase of books and uniforms.

Parents of the incoming S1 cohort who are on Parents Gateway (PG) will also receive instructions from the afternoon of 19 December 2025 for the link to complete the online registration with the school.

This link will be available from 9am, 19 Dec 2025 and will close at 9am, 22 Dec 2025.

Parents who do not have Parents Gateway access or miss this registration period will be required to write in to nchs@moe.edu.sg, indicating your child's full name, NRIC, and Primary School. 

For appeal cases, your cut-off point must meet our school cut-off for the posting year, Posting Group 3, and you must offer Chinese Language as a PSLE subject. Click here for more information on how to appeal.
